Claire first went to Paraguay in 1994 to work in St. Andrew’s College as a pre-primary teacher.  After four years as volunteer she felt called to longer term work.  After a short spell back in Northern Ireland she returned to Paraguay in 2000 as a Mission Partner to lead youth and children’s work in Concepcion, a provincial capital in North Eastern Paraguay. Working alongside Bishop Andrés Rodriguez she organizes and leads children’s meetings in the town and remote outlying villages. As the young people’s groups become established parents are encouraged to meet and churches are planted.
