Raquel, from Asunción Paraguay, is a trained teacher who is studying theology in Chile. She is an ex-pupil of St. Andrew’s College, and FEISA faculty of teacher training. She has been involved in the life of the Anglican church in Paraguay for many years. Through the EJE - Youth Encounter in the Spirit - programme, and involvement in local School and Church projects in the Chaco, she has made a significant contribution to the work of church in Paraguay.

Currently studying theology with support of SAMS Ireland she hopes to take on a pastoral role when she completes her studies.
