Carolina Schmidt

When I arrived in Ireland in May, I was given a planner filled with names and places, yet I knew neither the people nor the locations. Now, as I look back on my three-month placement with SAMS, I can honestly say that my heart has turned green. I am deeply thankful to God for the warm welcome and generous hospitality I received from so many people. My time in Ireland has reminded me that partnership in mission flourishes through relationships. As we get to know one another, pray for one another, and serve Christ together, the gospel binds our hearts across cultures and continents. Thank you for allowing me to become part of your church family for a little while. I leave encouraged, strengthened, and deeply grateful, trusting that the friendships we have built will continue to bear fruit for God’s glory in the years to come.

(Ministry Apprentice, Iglesia Santiago Apóstol, Santiago, Chile)

Sovereign God, thank you for bringing Carolina to Ireland and for the fellowship we have shared in Christ. We praise you that your gospel unites believers across cultures and continents, making us partners in your mission. As Carolina returns to serve at Iglesia Santiago Apóstol in Santiago, fill her with wisdom, courage, and joy in Christ. Strengthen the friendships and partnerships formed during her time with SAMS, and may they continue to bear fruit for your kingdom. We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
