Santísima Trinidad School: Education at Santísima Trinidad School extends beyond the classroom. The children and their families continue to be cared for in practical ways, reflecting the love of Christ in everyday acts of kindness. Each day, the children receive food during their morning break, and in August, when the colder weather leaves many more vulnerable to illness, breakfast is also provided. This year, the challenges are expected to increase as the El Niño weather pattern may bring prolonged periods of heavy rain and lower temperatures. Recently, the mother of one of the pupils, an 11-year-old girl, passed away. Please pray that the Lord would draw near to this grieving family, granting them His comfort and peace. Pray also for the teachers and the wider school community, that they would be given wisdom, compassion, and grace as they seek to care for the family and bear witness to the hope that is found in Christ.
Santísima Trinidad Church: Pastor Anderson and Isabel continue to invest deeply in the lives of both the young people and the adults in the church. This is a season of strengthening and consolidating the ministries already entrusted to them, while prayerfully seeking the Lord’s wisdom and discernment about what may need to be developed further and whether He is calling the church to begin new areas of ministry. They are increasingly aware that mission is not simply one activity of the church but lies at the very heart of its calling. As the congregation grows in its understanding of the gospel, their prayer is that they would also grow in their commitment to reach out with Christ’s love, bearing faithful witness to their community in both word and deed.
Pray: Gracious God, we thank You for Your faithful care over the school and church at Santísima Trinidad. Strengthen Pastor Anderson and Isabel with wisdom and joy in their service. Comfort those who mourn, protect the children, and deepen the congregation’s love for Christ, so that, abiding in Him, they may bear faithful witness to the hope of the gospel in their community. Amen.
