Mission Paraguay supports the work of the Anglican Church in Paraguay in a variety of developmental and social projects by providing funds and teams each year from the UK and Ireland (BTN teams) to work alongside mission partners and nationals to help with:
- evangelism
- building new churches and repairing/extending established churches
- providing new homes
- improvements to basic housing for marginalised people
- providing bibles and training materials
- supporting sewing workshops
- resourcing for education and medical care
- supplying and distributing spectacles
- building water storage tanks and sinking wells
- resourcing work with children and young people
Mission Paraguay seeks to assist the mission of the local church, share the love of Jesus and change lives. Over the last ten years short term mission teams have helped some of the poorest people in Paraguay by relieving hardship and encouraging self sufficiency. Being a member of a team will challenge you and greatly bless you. Your life could be transformed
“I urge you to save and do whatever it takes to participate in a short-term mission trip overseas as soon as possible. It will enlarge your heart, expand your vision, stretch your faith, deepen your compassion and fill you with every kind of joy you ever experienced. It could be the turning point of your life.” Rick Warren, The Purpose Driven Life
